January 2009 - Safe Salons Award
My Beauty Rooms located in Petts Wood, Kent was presented with the Safe Salons award - Safe Salons is the first independent assessment scheme for nail salons putting you the customer into contact with the safest and best quality nail salons to visit throughout the UK.
February 2009 - Moving in to new Premises
OMG, what a nightmare, my back hurts, my nails are broken and I am penniless - rent and new equipment to purchase. But thanks to my brothers and mother for their help and support along the way.
March 2009 - Celebrating Mother's Day in Style
I was pleased to be invited to work in conjunction with the Voice Newspaper for International Womens Month at the exclusive Errol Douglas Hair and Beauty Salon in Knightsbridge. A beauty pampering day for three special mothers Cecile Nobrega, Doreen Lawrence and Beverley De-Gale. At Errol Douglas's amazing salon the ladies had 5-star service from Errols' staff (he has a chef - the food was excellent - I want one too!) and Clariscia Gill, Couture Designer Bond Street. The ladies looked so amazing that the Voice Newspaper put them on the front of the March 16th Edition. I treated the ladies to mini-manicures and make up application. A wonderful day was had by all.
